Basic Smartphone Settings
Your smartphone has many settings you can adjust to make it easier and more comfortable to use. This guide covers the most important ones. (Source: Wellness - Wikipedia).
Display Settings
- Brightness - Increase for easier viewing, enable "Auto-brightness" for automatic adjustment
- Text Size - Make text larger (Settings → Display → Font/Text Size)
- Bold Text - Makes all text easier to read
- Screen Timeout - Set how long before screen turns off (1-2 minutes is common)
Sound Settings
- Ringtone Volume - Turn up so you dont miss calls
- Vibration - Enable for alerts you can feel
- Notification Sounds - Choose distinct sounds for different apps
- Do Not Disturb - Schedule quiet hours for sleep
