About Us Joanne Fritz, Ph.D., is the founder and owner of Second50Years Marketing. Second50Years publishes a bi-monthly email newsletter, Reaching Seniors Today, and maintains a website, www.second50years.com , that provides crucial information to businesses and organizations that serve the mature market.

Second50Years Marketing also provides consulting services ranging from site evaluation to publications audits to full-fledged publicity campaigns targeted at mature consumers. Joanne earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, and her Ph.D. from St. Louis University.

Trained as a teacher and cultural historian, she has spent more than 20 years marketing and publicizing educational organizations. She served as Director of University Relations for St. Louis University and the University of Iowa. In recent years, Joanne has focused on the mature market. Before opening her own business, she spent several years with a non-profit that served the over 50 market, overseeing their programs in Arizona and New Mexico, and interacting with businesses and organizations that serve and sell to older adults.

She is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), a member of the advisory board to the Senior College of Paradise Valley Community College, a member of the adjunct faculty at that institution, and a member of CoreAlliance, a Phoenix based-consortium of business consultants. Joanne speaks to business groups about the mature market and publishes articles in the business media and in senior publications.
